Earth Balloon for Students

The STEM Lab Committee at Division Street Elementary School has been working hard for the last four years to enhance STEM instruction for its students. When teachers were asked to generate a "wish list" of items that they would love to have for their students, the Earth Balloon was at the top, but the dollar amount falls well outside of the school budget. This would provide ALL students with hands-on science instruction and provide them with an opportunity for learning that will last them a lifetime. The students and educators at Division Street would be so thankful for your support. This effort is important for the future of STEM careers and inspiring students to become the scientists and engineers of the future. Will you please help them?
THE GOAL IS TO RAISE $21,000 by the end of the 2016-2017 school year!

The approximate cost of the Earth Balloon (19' model) is $20,500 + $400 shipping
GoFundMe keeps ~8% of the campaign contributions.
We hope to meet this goal by the end of the 2016-2017 academic year. Any unused funds will be put towards STEM Lab instructional materials and/or Cultural Arts programs related to STEM.
