Stem Cell Treatment for Sierra

Sierra Brooke was born April 8th, 2010. She was five pounds and seven ounces, and arriving on her exact due date. She was prompt, and ready to enter the world. During infancy, Sierra made most of her milestones. Then, the elatedness of watching ur baby grow stronger and healthier became more of a distant salient feeling, as we saw a cascading effect take hold. We saw the intricacy of the developmental process fading before our eyes. Symptoms covering a broad range of diagnoses, including global apraxia, sensory integration disorder, and hypotonia, She was later diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder called, P.A.N.D.A.S. This can affect and compromise the basal ganglia, where speech is derived from, OCD behaviors, and fine and gross motor challenges. Antibiotics can help, and it is cyclical. Each day, we wake up praying that Sierra will enjoy the day, learn more, communicate her needs more expressively so that she feels heard, and come into her own, in a healthful way. Sleepless nights, frustration from not being able to share her thoughts verbally, bodily accidents, we continue to live, and breathe, and be, though it is difficult.

We are truly grateful for the simple things, including belly laughs, connecting with her, polishing our nails together, eating a meal together, reading books, watching her do her tricks on her trampoline, paint, move to a variety of music, and swim. Sierra understands so much more than she is able to express. She is intelligent, tenacious, artistic, and graceful, so very brave. She faces the world much of the time with her beautiful smile, inquisitive nature, and so determined to learn about life, and being challenged. Sierra loves interaction with family and close friends. She has a heart of gold, and is a compassionate being. We are determined to be going to Panama a very reputable stem cell treatment center, with doctors from the U.S. The cost is 20,000.
