Mona is only 47 years old, lives in Sweden and has been suffering from chronic arthritis in both her hips for over 5 years. This developed as a result of many years playing football as well as coaching children in football. In the last two years Mona's hips have seriously deteriorated to the point where she now suffers chronic pain both day and night. She has problems walking and moving around easily. Mona's feels desperate as she would rather not have such an invasive surgery as a hip replacement is, so she has been looking at alternative treatments. Mona found a Stem Cell Clinic in Norway that specialises in joint pain especially hips and knees. This clinic believes they can help reduce Mona's pain from a 10 to 2-3 through stem cells injections. This involves weekly trips to Norway for the treatments.
The cost for the stem cell injections with travel costs from Sweden to Norway is 30,000kr. This amounts to 5 trips to Norway for 5 injections in each hip.
