Percutaneous Fasciotomy

While I was serving my mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Washington State, I injured my foot. I ruptured the plantar fascia tendon in my left foot.  This is normally an easy fix, it can heal on its own if you are off of it long enough, but a lot of the time it requires surgery.  According to specialists, surgery would be the way to fix my foot, but that cannot happen. I was born with a condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenitia. It effects my arms and also my feet. Because of this condition, there is no way to know what the outcome of a surgery would be. There is no Doctor that will perform the surgery. I have been doing lots of injections and physical therapy, but nothing seems to help my foot.  With the help of my local Bishop I have been able to find a specialist that perform stem cell therapy to fix problems just like mine.  It requires harvesting bone marrow from my hip, and using the stem cells from that to inject into the effected area.  I have been living in extreme pain since October 2016. With the help of others I will be able to step with no pain again!
