Stem cell relief

Donation protected
My name is Jason and I am asking for help with funding for a stem cell therapy procedure.

When I was 19 yrs old I was involved in a car accident that my Doctor said will change the rest of my life. He said I have suffered from a T8-T11 spinal cord injury and will never be able to walk again. I was in a coma for 2 weeks and was in the hospital for a total of 2 months doing rehab. I have intense muscle spasms and stiffness in both of my legs from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. I wear a LFO brace on my left leg at my knee down to under my foot to keep my foot straight and stop it from turning inward. My right leg is numb to the bottom of my foot where the only feeling I have is constant pins and needles and I have felt that pain 24/7 since Feb of 1997.

I had rehabilitation in 97 and 98. Therapists would use tens units to stimulate my nerves and have me up in parallel bars learning to walk again and hold my balance.  I learned to get myself up out of a wheelchair and walk with a walker. I went from a walker to one cane and was using just one cane for a very long time but still had many issues with my balance. I am 42 years old now have noticed in recent years that my condition is getting worse and I've been using two canes to get around and using a wheelchair for long distances that I wouldn't be able to walk in.

I have been through more therapy in the past but didn't get any improvement out of it. I also tried using an L300 foot drop stimulation that also didn't work. I spent $2300 on laser therapy for pins and needles feeling in my foot that I didn't get any relief from. I tried botox injections for muscle spasms that just made things worse. I went through a trial to have baclofen pump put in me but that didn't work as well. I have taken gabapentin, pain meds, and muscle relaxers to get relief but I don't wanna take those the rest of my life.

Now that my condition is getting worse I always have to have someone doing things for me like making me plate of food and carrying it, someone to take my garbage out, store my wheelchair in their car, simple things to do but my hands are always full using 2 canes. It's even getting hard to stand myself up off the toilet. It's tough to put pants and shorts on due to my legs being stiff a lot. And I stumble a lot when I walk and sometimes fall or come close to falling.

I live in a 3 story condo building with my place being on the 2nd level. I have to go up and down 11 steps everyday one by one and its becoming a struggle. The reason I live here is because its the only place I can afford to live and it's close to people that can come help when I need it most.

I have found a place in California that does stem cell therapy and what the stem cells will do is repair my nerve damage and grow new cells and regenerate. It should give me some of my strength back, give me the feeling back in my leg, take away the pins and needles feeling, help me with my balance, eliminate my muscle spasms, and hopefully give me back a majority of my life that I have lost the last 22 years.

I have done a lot of research and read nothing but good things about stem cells and I've read about the promising outcomes it has given to people with the same injury and the same symptoms that I have.

I will be going to San Diego California to have this procedure done. It will take 3-4 days to complete. The drs will take the adipose cells from my fat tissue and take them to a lab and clean them. Remove the antibodies and activate the cells. When activated they will go up through my nose for the injection of those cells.

This procedure is not covered by insurance and it will cost $16,900, so I'm asking for any donations you can afford to help me get this done. Thank you so so much.
