STEM camp for Ruby

This fundraiser is for Ruby who was nominated by her teacher last year to go to elementary STEM camp this summer.  It's not easy to be chosen and she is thrilled with the prospect of going to this honors program.
Ruby lives in Hawaii, a state which has been in lockdown on all islands due to Oahu's Covid rate (Ruby lives on a different island) and children have not been in full time school all year.  Due to her parents' inability to work full time this year despite their best efforts, paying for airfare for Ruby and her family (she is too young to fly alone) plus tuition and housing is not possible.  Ruby has qualified for a partial scholarship which helps to defray some of the costs. I am hoping that family contacts along with my family and friends would be willing to help in a small or large amount to help her to go to this wonderful camp.

"What is Envision? Envision is an amazing program where kids like me can discover their career passions, test-drive a career, build self confidence, also enhance collage and career planning skills, experience collage life at top universities, and form a group of life long friends with similar interests. No matter what a kid decides to do when they grow up, STEM will play a BIG part in their future.
What I’m I gonna do there? At NYLF Pathways to STEM  Envision Elementary Summer Program (envisionexperience.com) aspirational elementary school students will enjoy six incredible days at one of many program locations learning to program robots, training as doctors, and investing a crime, all while making new friends and building necessary 21st century success skills.  I will be doing hands-on simulations and workshops. Why do I want to go? I want to go because it is an amazing opportunity and a chance to go somewhere new and make new friends and learn things to help me in the future and to do hands-on simulations and workshops, plus my grandparents are nearby. 
Where am I going? There are several locations but me and my mom picked Lakeland Florida. This is a good investment for my future and help with getting a good job in the future.  What do I need to raise money for? I need to raise money to get airline tickets to go to Florida and back, and money to go to Envision plus room and board.  And money for food and necessities. (In this paragraph I got some of the ideas from the NYLF pathways to STEM website)"

Airfare from Big Island to pretty much anywhere on the mainland will run about 3 thousand dollars for Ruby, her mother and Ruby's disabled sister who cannot be left with others for two weeks.
Ruby will need room and board at the site which costs $2495 for the duration.

We are hoping first to purchase airfare by the end of next month before prices get crazy for July.
