Stella's Victorious stage4 MediFund

Hello, friend from near and far. I've set up this GoFundMe fundraising campaign for our Beloved Stella; friend, family, mother, and' abuela' (grandma). Stella is our dear friend from church and life.

This past Christmas season 2017,  a friend mentioned how Stella was in the hospital,  we made plans to visit her and see how she was doing. Well, it wasn't good at all, in fact, she had been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer (a non-smoker) and to compound the circumstance, Parkinson's also.

The prognosis for her stage 4 lung cancer is a grim 6 months to a year. Using conventional treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy is as a last resort because of her very sensitive biological system. She can barely tolerate a Tylenol for heaven's sake.

Therefore her only path toward a victorious overcoming is activating the non-traditional route that unfortunately is not covered by insurance. A drastic lifestyle change is an immediate must, as is peace of mind that can only be had from minimal stress.

6 MONTH BATTLE STRATEGY PLAN TO VICTORY

She must immediately go on a leave of absence from work for 6 months and focus solely on her holistic detoxification and healing opportunity.   Temporarily cutting ties with the day-to-day routine, responsibilities and various expectations,

.  She must be on a continuous organic juice regime and a strict diet

.  She must be on a daily exercise routine of yoga and sauna sessions

When enough funds are raised,  and as soon as time and other treatments allow, she goes on a type of "sabbatical" of a 1-month stay at the Ann Wigmore  Living Foods Institute in Rincon, Puerto Rico.  ( edited- no trip to PR, not enough funds raised)

The institute is not a clinic but a type of retreat where you learn about, and live, the living foods lifestyle.  The daily routine also includes; meditation, yoga, walking on the beach, helping in the garden, plenty of peace, serenity, and joyous activity in the company of other wonderful and loving hearts.

Thereupon her return, she is empowered with her new lifestyle routine. Then together, torchbearers, friends, and family, support and help with her ongoing stage 4 cancer healing regime.

She will continue with ongoing follow-ups with her naturopath, oncologist, pulmonary specialist, and general practitioner.

We will establish a membership with local food-coop to purchase the massive amount of juicing fruits and vegetables she requires, and other goods at wholesale prices

Purchase a family membership at "La Mariposa Health Club" for her ongoing exercise regime and to enjoy her grandchildren in a more physically active manner. (edited - thank you Mariposa, you are a lifesaver)

We will establish an ongoing schedule of nine-day novena cycles of a decree and prayer matrix with family, friends, and torchbearers.

Stella firmly believes, and we Stella, that with a rigorous, disciplined, nutrition-rich, stress-free "battle-plan", she can continue to be our sister, friend, and the loving mother and grandmother that she is. With your financial back-up and prayer support, we are certain she will remain with us well beyond the six-month to a year prognosis given by her various doctors.

THANK YOU

IN STELLA'S OWN WORDS

This journey began totally unexpected after visiting an urgent care and being advised to go to the hospital immediately from what I thought to be a simple cold and a persistent secretion, which had been diagnosed three weeks before as an acid reflux condition. The short drive to the hospital ended up being a six-day stay, a lung cancer, and Parkinson’s diagnosis, all at once. Honestly, I had no idea where to begin, starting with a bill of around $20,000 right off the bat. God knows why my present job does not provide health insurance.

It also happened to be the last day to purchase insurance from the Market Place. As it so happens, the only option for insurance provided by the Market Place was not one which the oncologist who saw me at the hospital accepted. End result: no oncologist, Christmas week. As if that was not enough, the pulmonologist only had appointments for the end of January. I also needed to find a new primary who accepted the new insurance. As a special accommodation, under my circumstances, they gave me an appointment for January 18th.

The only thing I knew up to that point was that I did not particularly want chemotherapy or radiation if I could help it. I really did not know where to begin either way. Right in the middle of this dilemma and pretty much out of the blue, Rose calls because she is attending Lux Invictus. I shared the situation with her and she mentions Dr. Morris Lance, she says he has many years of experience working successfully with cancer, except from leukemia.

I had no primary, no oncologist and a whole month to see the pulmonologist, so I decided to give him a call. He accepted to see me the 26th of December. The only catch is that nature paths are not covered by insurance, it all has to come from one’s own pocket. He puts me immediately to do nebulization treatments twice a day. Up to that day, the only medicine I had been administered were two Tylenol and the Parkinson’s medicine.

Dr. Lance additionally suggested ideally, five intravenous treatments weekly for four weeks at $250 each treatment or two or three per week according to financial ability. Dr. Lance also uses essential oils and oxygen among others to do the intravenous treatments in order to clean the cancer from your body. The supplies for the nebulization treatments are $125 every two weeks. Incidentally, the oncologist’s office said they needed confirmation of insurance because the cost of the treatment could be up to $90,000, hence, the importance of being insured from the get-go.

To date, I have been doing the treatments for eighteen days. I have noticed a difference which will be confirmed or denied by the pulmonologist in a couple of weeks, January 31st.

Honestly, my preference would be a natural way, but it is the oncologist who will give a better idea of my direction regarding one or the other based on the results of the biopsy and testing done at the hospital. It is my hope that the treatments done thus far can make for an easier allopathic treatment.

I am deeply grateful and really touched by the love and support shown to me thus far, it is so very much valued and appreciated.

May God Bless all,
