Hi my name is Michelle. My husband and I found the cutest little puppy who was irresponsibly abandoned and in desperate need of love and support. While at first we only intended to foster her and find her a loving forever home, she was too weak to give away. Naturally we have fallen in love with her and continue to do our best giving her the support she needs. Being incredibly anemic this support included syringe feedings three times a day, administering antibiotics and vitamins, bringing her to the office daily as she cannot be left alone and taking her to several vet visits to try and figure out what could possibly be wrong with such a sweet tiny puppy. Each vet visit has left us more discouraged than the previous as her numbers continue to decline but no concrete evidence of any specific ailment has been found. At this point, little Stella is being recommended a blood transfusion to at least get her levels to some baseline that the doctors can begin to see what might be going on in her body. While this is not a solution for her little life, it seems to be a possible step to give her some type of fighting chance for now. We are animal loving people and have been doing all that we can to help her, but we cannot afford the vet bills that are beginning to pile up nor the transfusion she needs. We just want her to be a healthy and happy little puppy.
