Stella and family

My sister Nikki, who is 7 months pregnant, woke up at 1:30am on Thursday, August 30 to a fire in their Terryville home. Luckily their three year old daughter’s baby monitor woke them up when it picked up the second floor fire alarm. Nikki and her husband grabbed their daughter and their rescue dog Stella. Within minutes the entire house was engulfed in flames. They were able to escape but everything else that they owned was lost in the flames. Unfortunately, Stella inhaled a lot of smoke. She was closely monitored by an amazing team of vets and is currently doing well. She was able to return home and is now back with her family. We are asking for donation for Stella’s veterinary care and for the rest of the Shaver’s family. As lucky as they were to have escaped this tragedy, they lost their home and everything in it.
