Stefan's Ironman for A&B Cancer Foundation

On the 26th June, I am due to participate in (and hopefully finish!) the Frankfurt Ironman Triathlon, consisting of a 3.8km swim, followed by a 182km cycle, and finally running a Marathon. This is the first time I have attempted an Ironman, and it will be a significant challenge.

We all know someone who has been impacted by cancer, and in May, we sadly lost my Aunty Jill after a short but determined battle.

Throughout her treatment, Jill and the family were supported by Above and Beyond Cancer Foundation whose support I know was invaluable.

Above and Beyond are a small local charity that offers 1:1 personal support for cancer patients and their loved ones, as well as offering holistic and complementary treatments to help reduce the side effects of a cancer diagnosis.
