<div>Als Stefan Rimmele vor sechs Jahren zum ersten Mal mit seinem segwaybasierten Rollstuhl am Strand von Thailand entlangrollte, ahnte er nicht, dass dieser Urlaub sein Leben auf den Kopf stellen würde. Doch die Begegnung mit einem körperbehinderten Thailänder, der ohne jegliche Hilfsmittel auf der Straße kroch, ließ ihn nicht mehr los.

<div>Aus dem Eventmanager wurde ein Mensch mit einer Mission: Hilfe dorthin bringen, wo sie dringend gebraucht wird. Heute organisiert er Hilfstransporte nach Thailand – erst kürzlich lieferte er seinen zweiten 40-Fuß-Container mit 653 medizinischen Hilfsmitteln beim RICD Wheelchairproject in Chiang Mai ab. Hilfsmittel, die in Deutschland sonst verschrottet würden, schenken dort Menschen neue Mobilität und neue Hoffnung.

<div>Doch die Vision geht weiter: Eine eigene Rollstuhlwerkstatt auf Phuket soll entstehen – ein Ort, der dauerhaft Hilfe leistet und Leben verändert. Damit das gelingt, braucht Stefan eine Million Menschen, die bereit sind, mit nur 12 Euro im Jahr ein Stück dieser Geschichte mitzuschreiben.
