St. Bede’s Kinder Play Structure Fundraiser...Help us give the gift of play and keep our children captivated!
St. Bede’s is a TK-8 school located in the Heart of the Bay – Hayward, CA
Active outdoor play is essential to the physical, social and emotional development of allchildren. Importance of Outdoor Play This is how children develop and tone their motor development and learn how to problem solve and resolve conflict. This play structure will benefit the young children of St. Bede for years to come by providing a safe and exciting area for them to play and explore.
Our school and the community are committed to the challenge of raising $23,000 to purchase a Play Structure for the Kindergarten class. Currently, there is a patch of grass alongside a cemented area just calling out for a play structure to call it home that the children can play on.
So far, we have raised nearly half the needed funds through bake sales and private donors, but we still need your help.
The funds raised so far will cover the play structure itself. We still need help raising funds to pay for play structure additions such as- shipping, installation and the rubber surfacing.
