The lady on the right of this picture  - is my beautiful and talented mother, Judy Vanderpool! She's always been my rock and has done so much for me while I was in grade school, college, and now into my adult life! The time has come for me to help her + I'm asking for the support of all our family and friends during this extremely tough time!

In April 2017 my mother, Judy Vanderpool, went to the doctor for some abdominal pain.  Her doctor, Dr. Ram had a CT scan performed on her abdomen, which found the mass in her colon. He then referred her to a Colon Specialist, Dr. Greg, where she had a colonoscopy and some CT/MRI scans preformed on her brain and bones. The pathology results were then sent to Oncologist, Dr. Cynthia, which concluded in her diagnosis of an incurable Colon Cancer in May of 2017.  The cancer is in fact treatable, but not curable.

She has lost over 50 lbs and the cancer has since spread to her Liver (24 tumors) and Lymph Nodes. She had her first round of chemotherapy in June 2017. After 3 days of treatement she was rushed to the hospital the morning of June 29th, 2017 for an emergency surgery. They concluded that a vain had wrapped around her colon and had they not caught it in time she would have had blood poisining. During the surgery she had an ileoscopy and they began a "white blood cell" treatement after the surgery. She was released from the hospital on Monday, July 3rd, 2017.

She is still undergoing a "white blood cell" injection daily and receives continuous visits from a Home Health Nurse for Occupational and Physical Therapy. She will receive a port in her right collar bone area via an outpatient surgery on Friday, July 14th. This will be where she receives herchemotherapy, which will resume on Tuesday, July 18th.  Because of the fatigue from the cancer/lack of nutrition & fluids, Judy has had to stop working and no longer receives pay.

To be as transparent as possible - I wanted to give an idea on fees associated with her medical treatment
-Doctor bills from CT/MRI scans
-Hospital bills from emergency surgery/ 10 day hospital stay/treatment for the low white blood cell count
-$85 co-pay every time she visits the Oncologist and Hospital
-$480 for Chemotherapy: 3 days of chemotherapy ever 3 weeks.

Please help me and my family as we help Judy FIGHT for her life!

We appreciate everything, and we are especially grateful for the continued prayers... You ALL will help us win this fight...

With much love, The Vanderpool/Wilkerson Family
