Staying Strong for Walker James

It comes from heavy hearts that Amanda and I are in the position that we feel we need this. At twenty weeks into pregnancy we found out our son had a heart defect. Something went genetically wrong around week 6 or 7 that caused his heart to be transversed and have several other problems. We where told we could have to go through a surgery or maybe several.. Well the worst case scenario happened. Our poor little boy went through the first surgery of the 3 he will need Tuesday at just a week old. It was open heart.. They had to reroute some arteries and add some shunts in to allow his system to work correctly. The recovery process will be long and strenuous and they ask we be here for the majority of it, for things could change daily. At first they predicted a 4-6 week recovery, but after a mishap Tuesday night its looking like it will be two month or more. Amanda and I have always prided in the ability to stay on our feet, but with whats going on we need help. $10,000 is about 5,000 more than we think we will need but we didn't want to put a limit on it. Unfortunately around a year after all this he will need to go through a second surgery.. And a 3rd between 3-5 years in life. Please donate only what you can and keep us in your prayers!
