Being a Mom has never been this scary before.
You've probably read by now, that my son Conrad is in the hospital. We don't know exactly what happened, and we may never really know. He was found unresponsive, with a brain aneurism and his heart has been damaged. He has been in the ICU since August 20th. He is doing much better, but he's not ready to leave the ICU -and that's why I'm doing this go fund me - so I can stay close to him.
I have wonderful family and friends that have helped me with hotel costs, and offered to house me once I feel like I can be more than 10 minutes away from the hospital. My problem is that while I am here, I cannot work. I rent a home, have a car payment, utilities and other monthly expenses. I have NO idea how I'm going to pay them. My rent is due on the first...
It is very difficult for me to ask for help in such a public way, but Conrad needs me. I need to see him through this nightmare. I need my baby boy to be well, and I would love to focus all my energy toward helping him heal, without worrying about my life in Idaho.
I am asking for help with specific things, and I'm sure other expenses will arise. If you feel like you can help, any amount would be so appreciated. Please know that any money I don't use will go directly to Conrad's care. That is a whole different can of worms that has not been addressed yet.
If you would also keep my parents in your thoughts, I would greatly appreciate it. My Mom has her hands VERY full with my Father. While I am gone, she is also taking care of Hooli, Big Kitty AND my house. I am worried about Moms stress level, so kind words and thoughts toward her would be wonderful.
