On June 15, 2011 my husband Jason Wilson and I were arrested in our home for growing marijuana. Due to NO cultivation law in the state of Alabama we are being charged for trafficking a Class A felony 10-99 years in state prison. This is our first offence, we spent the summer each on one million dollar bonds in Baldwin County Jail a high max federal holding facility.
I found out I was pregnant in jail and we were released on fifty thousand dollar bonds each . Since our arrest over 2 1/2years ago we have completed rehab, we are members of church and do charity work to less fortunate members of our community. Being released on bond we remain on color code drug testing which we report 2-3 times per month we have NEVER Failed a drug screen.
I am expected to be on trial November 2014 and my husband is on 24hr standby. A few months ago I had to fire my old attorney then hire a new one due to ineffective council. We still owe my new attorney about $6500 and we also need to hire an expert witness to re-examine and re- weigh the evidence and the cost of him to do these things will be $4,000 but it is crucial.
The A.D.A. wants to give us each 15yrs in prison (the only plea we have been offered) leaving our daughter Skye of 19months without her mother and father. DUE TO LACK OF FUNDS & RESOURCES WE ARE ASKING FOR ANY HELP AND SUPPORT WE CAN GET. PLEASE HELP US TRY TO KEEP OUR FAMILY TOGETHER .
We lost our home, our pets, and I cannot even get a job because of this severe pending charge. We have had to sell almost every almost everything we own, and we are doing everything we can. IF ANYONE IS ABLE OR WANTS TO HELP IT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED, PLEASE SHARE THIS PAGE.
