Stay strong Jax!

As some of you know, my sister Sam Mendez and her boyfriend Brian Purnell’s silver lab Jax recently swallowed one of my son's binkys. He went to have it removed a few days ago for what seemed to be a common and fairly simple surgery. During his recovery, things started to go downhill very fast as he wouldn't eat, walk, or use the bathroom. If you know Jax, you know something was wrong. They took him back to get an X-ray in which they saw something going on with his bowels due to how his stomach was healing from the surgery and he was rushed back into a 4 hour surgery. During the surgery they found his bowels to be necrotic and "falling apart in their hands". They reconstructed them and he is currently fighting for his life. If you know my sister you know how much she LOVES Jax. This may be a long shot but their vet bills are already at $5,000 + and probably still going to increase. I feel that I have some part of responsibility in this just because it was my son's binky and I'm trying to help anyway I can. Anything helps ! Thank you so so much. Keep praying for Jax <3
