What is STATUS QUO?
STATUS QUO is a 30 minute long SciFi drama questioning tolerance and humaneness in times of technological progress and virtual reality.
It's the graduate film by master students from the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg, Austria.
We have already shot parts of our movie, but in order to finish it, we need your help!
Film synopsis
20 years in the future an implant has stopped the need to sleep and so the existence of dreams. Instead, people spend their time with VR (Virtual Reality) experiences to escape their dull reality. When Ewan, a former VR salesman, stumbles upon dreams he tries to find a way to sell them in order to save his own job. But making business with the unconscious has its price...
