Career Sisters is a startup business specifically focused on minority women pursuing their career aspirations or entrepreneurial dreams. For women wishing to advance in their careers; Career Sisters focuses on filling the gaps by providing mentoring and programs to give them the real world skills they need to move into entrepreneurial, management or executive positions. For those that want to have their own business Career Sisters provides mentoring, networking events as well as co-working space to be around and energized by other entrepreneurs. Our programs include SistersIGNITE under our partnership with Kennesaw State University and The Cobb County Chamber, SisterPRENEUR, and SoulSistah events where we strive to empower women of color to EMERGE into their purpose.
Minority groups have traditionally been left out of high-growth startup conversations. None are more visually absent as African American women. African American women face a unique barrier, which is rarely discussed: access to networks. The goal of Career Sisters is to build a community of aspiring and like minded women of color that can support and help each other advance. The funds from this campaign will be used to provide resources to these women and help forward the movement and start the conversation.
Support an ongoing Entrepreneur/Career Academy that provides women resources in a non traditional setting, partnering with the community and other successful entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. Donations can be any amount to help forward the movement to empower minority women in business and sisterhood.
