Froelich Family Ventura Wildfire

Our brother, his wife, two teenaged daughters and dog had to immediately evacuate their home of 19 years in Ventura CA due to a fast moving fire. There were able to leave with only a few sentimental possessions. Unfortunately, the house burned to the ground and they lost everything - including Christmas gifts and irreplaceable family keepsakes and antiques. They are now living in a hotel, and their dog is staying with friends. 

We would like to offer some solace in at least getting the  girls some new clothes, backpacks, laptops, etc. This is a family that’s not attached to possessions, but it will be tough the next few days and weeks while they regroup, start filling out insurance paperwork, and finding a place to live.   It’s mostly about showing support as they are surely feeling devastated.  Please do not feel obligated to give a large sum of money.   We will be transferring the funds raised to our brother,  who will in turn use to purchase replacements Christmas gifts, and necessities to brighten their spirits. 

The worst part part is the fires are continuing in the area. They are not sure what the future will bring for their schools, places of business and community.  Please hold beautiful Ventura and Ojai in your thoughts and prayers this holiday season.
