Starting After The Fire.

This fundraiser is to support me and my family, the Mackey family. Eva, Scott, Isiah and Indiana. It was Tuesday, September 8th, about 4pm when the ambulances drove down our streets warning of a level 3 evacuation from the Almeda wildfire engulfing the highway I called home. We had not even 5 minutes to pack up and run, no clothes or sentimentals able to be saved. Just my family, the clothes on our back, and our pets. We didn’t think we would loose our house, if we had known we would have tried to save more, grabbed the nearby heirlooms, anything. But we didn’t, and receiving the news the next day that 80% of the trailer park was completely leveled, including our house, was some of the most devastating news of our lives. Without warning we are being forced to rebuild the life we worked so hard to achieve, and with nothing left we have to try to receive any help we can.  I’m setting up this gofundme in hopes it will kickstart our new lives after the fire, with gofundme taking so much out of donations we set the goal a little high. Anything helps, even just sharing this when you can, if you’ve come this far in reading thank you for viewing and if you donate I can’t thank you enough. With hope, my family will be able to live a new life yet.
