Hello, we're Conor, Kirsty, and Logan and we're raising money this December for Sporting Start.

We're all participating in the New Year's Day Triathlon in Edinburgh (400m in the Commonwealth pool, 3 laps of Arthur's Seat (~15km) on the bike, and 1 lap run around Arthur's Seat (~5km)). This is a first Triathlon for all 3 of us and quite a change from our usual sport of choice (less hitting people in the face in this one. we hope...) so we're all very excited for the new challenge.

We feel so privileged to have sports in our lives and it has shaped us in different ways, all for the better so we'd love to give others in Edinburgh and the Lothians that experience too. Sporting Start was set up in 2017 in memory of Martin Macari, a passionate sportsman. His friends and family wanted to pass that passion onto youngsters in our little corner of Scotland so the charity was created. They create opportunities in Edinburgh and the surrounding Lothians for children of all ages to get involved in sports and develop a love for it that can benefit them throughout their whole lives.

We know money can be tough at this time of year but we would appreciate any penny you can spare to donate towards this cause as we swim, cycle, and run around an extinct volcano on the first day of 2025.
