StarSeed Meals for Keyworkers

As a small way of showing our appreciation and gratitude, we are delivering delicious, nutritious meals to the amazing NHS staff and other keyworkers in York and the surrounding area. A meal made with love by StarSeed Catering, and gifted with love to make someone's day just that little bit easier.
The community response has been incredible, and in our first week of fundraising we have already delivered 100 meals to York District Hospital Doctors, Nurses and other staff in A&E, ICU, Covid and non-Covid wards and Maternity, with another 70+ pledged. Feedback from staff has been fantastic, and our aim is 1000 meals for 1000 staff!
If you feel able to contribute, each meal costs just £5 (cost of a meal plus a little extra to cover delivery and fundraising fees), and will be made, and delivered contact-free, by StarSeed. Please feel free to donate as many meals as you would like!
Please feel free to include a message with your donation for the staff. The messages we have passed on so far have really made people smile!
We hope this will be a tangible way to show staff how appreciated they are, and also a practical way that we can help. A bonus is that it supports a local small business in these uncertain times too. If enough donations are received, we will be asking other small businesses to join us in providing these meals, supporting them too. Win-win!
