STAR - Help The Cause of Young World-Changers!
Tax deductible
Support the STAR Scholarship Fund and the Young Adult Activism Internship Program. (See Intern Videos Below & other ways to give!)
Even a small donation will immediately:
> Support the 8 High School Student Interns currently participating in STAR's Young Adult Activist Team (YAAT) who are being trained and prepared in Community Activism, Coalition Building, Truth-Telling, and Reconciliation practices as well as learning the inner-workings of a Restorative Justice Nonprofit organization.
- This support includes Training Materials, Transportation Costs and a developmental "Journey" to the Equal Justice Initiative's (EJI's) Legacy Museum and The National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery Alabama.
Your Donation will also:
> Empower STAR to award Scholarship Dollars to the Winners of the Equal Justice Initiative's (EJI) Scholarship Essay Contest to be conducted with their partners in Fulton and Dekalb Counties.
- The remembrance coalition partners are the Fulton County Remembrance Coalition (FCRC) and the Dekalb Remembrance Project (DRP) of the NAACP Dekalb County.
> Empower STAR to offer a stipend to Undergraduate and Graduate School Interns projected for the program next semester.
Meet the Interns and Coalition Partner organizations at:
