As many of you know Joe “JoJo” Stappen and his family lost their home to a fire on Feb. 5, 2020.
Starting in the basement of an adjoining building under construction, the fire spread quickly to the Stappen home causing extensive damage. Everyone was displaced. To date the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
As a community we all know the Stappen family for their long-standing support of others in need. Many of us have personal, life-long ties with the Stappens and are aware of their countless contributions to local Times, functions, and fundraisers. Joe and his family have always been the first ones to step in when someone needs their help ... now it’s our chance to step up to help them.
