Stan's - Needs Help Rebuilding

September 10th, 2017: Hurricane Irma hit Goodland, Florida head on. Stan's Idle Hour has been serverly damaged and there is no insurance to cover the repairs and rebuilding. This is a call out to all who know and love Stan's, your help is needed now! For locals and visitors, near and far, Stan's has been a landmark and icon for 40+ years, drawing in thousands of people each season. We have all reveled in Sunday afternoons of music, dancing, catching up with old friends, and meeting new friends from all walks of life. Stan's is "one of a kind" and just downright enjoyable for patrons of all ages and from all places... WE CAN'T LOSE IT.

Stan and his family have hosted fundraising charities every Sunday, both local and regionally, for many years. It is our turn to give back to this place that has provided so many memories, laughter, and good times.

Please help spread the news, and we will keep you updated on the progress of putting "The Buzzard" back on the roof of the stage.
