Stanley Walls' Surgery Relief

Stanley Walls has been a part of the Savannah, GA music scene for more than four decades. He is also a good friend. 

Stanley has recently fallen into a difficult time financially, primarily due to a recently diagnosed tumor on his spine, which was threatening to leave him paralyzed.  Stan was blessed with good news a few weeks ago when the dangerous surgery was successful in removing the tumor, and doubly blessed when the tumor was found to be benign.  He's facing a long recovery, but he should eventually recover.

The down-side to all this good news is, of course, the medical expenses.  Stan has basic Medicare with no supllemental coverage.  He and his wife, June, were already living pretty "close to the edge" financially, and now they do not know how they are ever going to climb out of debt, due to the medial bills that are only partially covered by Medicare.

Stanley would never ask for any help for himself.  That is why I am setting up this account, in the hopes that his many friends and fans will respond generously and help him to get our from under all of this debt.

During this wonderful holiday season, maybe all of us should consider smaller gifts for our friends and families who already have so much, so that we can give a little to help a friend in a real time of need.
