StandUp4 Papyrus Charity Comedy Night

Last year, my friend took his own life, he was all alone when he died.
What if when he felt at his lowest; he also felt like he had someone to talk to, somebody understanding and compassionate, and to be there for him. It's not always family or friends, sometimes it can be somebody you don't even know. A kind stranger.
When I found about the tragedy of my friend Alex who lost his younger brother in 2018 I was heartbroken. But over the last few months I had the opportunity to spend more time with Alex and learn about all the wonderful things his family were doing to spread awareness of young suicide and mental health, I was inspired to get involved and have become passionate about supporting Papyrus.
Papyrus is a society which speaks openly about suicide and has the resources to help young people who may have suicidal thoughts and they exist to reduce the number of young people who take their own lives by shattering the stigma around suicide and equipping young people and their communities with the skills to recognise and respond to suicidal behaviour.
In August 2019 we are hosting a special one night only charity event combining stand up comedians and musicians to bring you the best that Hereford & Worcester has to offer. All to raise funds for the Papyrus charity.
The lineup consists of solo performances by Hannah Mac and comedy from Tim Hoskins, Rob Coleman & Darren Archer, with a one night only performance from Worcester's own Richard Price, all hosted by Birmingham comedy king, Ryan Gough.
Hot food by Hog Roast Hire Company will be provided as part of the ticket price and to top it off, worcester pop duo Mel & Him will deliver an 80's revival disco for you to dance the night away and relive the classics
We are passionate about helping this charity and ask you to be apart of something special on Friday 2nd August at the Pear Tree Inn, Smite, Worcester. But more importantly, please give what you can to help make this event life changing for families everywhere.
You have the power to save people's lives so please give what you can, every donation makes the difference needed to save lives, you have the power; so use it today.
Thank you
