Stand Tall With Sarah



Measuring in at just over 5 feet, Sarah may not stand tall literally speaking, but figuratievly she will stand tall during the most epic battle of her life. At 31 years old, during her prime, Sarah recently received the life changing news that she has stage 4 cancer. To those who have the pleasure of knowing her, it came as a shock to say the least.  It seems unimaginable that this could happen to a vibrant, young woman who prides herself in her work as a personal trainer and lives a healthy lifestyle. It's  hard to think that this could happen to such a good person. Sarah is a loyal friend, caring daughter, supportive sister, devoted partner to her significant other, Jacquie and of course loving dog mom to her fur baby, Wendy; she means so much to the many people in her life. She is a truly beautiful human being with a kind heart and genuine soul. 

 Sarah's journey in her fight against cancer is just beginning. This journey will no doubt be a challenge, but certainly one Sarah will conquer with grace and dignity. Sarah's courage thus far has been worthy of admiration; she is a true inspiration. As her medical team at Dana-Farber continues to work tirelessly to determine the primary source of her cancer, the medical bills have already started to pile up. Given that the cancer has spread to many lymph nodes throughout her body, Sarah will need aggressive chemotherapy.  She has been out of work due to debilitating nerve pain and endless medical appointments. She will continue to be unable to work for the foreseeable future. As Sarah fights hard to heal her body, we want to remove some of her financial burden so that Sarah can focus on kicking cancer's ass.
