<div>On May 8, 2026, my life changed forever.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I was shot in the chest while four of my children witnessed the entire ordeal. No child should ever have to watch their mother fight for her life, yet that is the reality my family now carries with us every day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>By the grace of God, I survived.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After emergency surgery, I was told that my breast implant may have prevented the bullet from reaching my heart. Hearing how close I came to losing my life is something I will never forget.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While my physical wounds continue to heal, the emotional trauma remains. My children and I are working through the fear, anxiety, and heartbreak left behind by that day. What happened changed our lives in an instant, and the sense of safety we once had has been replaced with uncertainty.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have always worked hard to provide for my family and create a stable home for my children. Asking for help has never come easily to me, but after surviving this unimaginable tragedy, I know I cannot rebuild alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My greatest priority now is giving my children a safe place to heal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To do that, I am hoping to relocate my family to a safer community where we can begin again without the constant reminders and fear associated with what happened.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am seeking to raise $50,000 to help us make that fresh start possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your generosity will help cover:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>* Relocation to a safer home and community
</div>
<div>* Temporary housing during the transition
</div>
<div>* Moving and transportation expenses
</div>
<div>* Security deposit and first month’s rent
</div>
<div>* Medical expenses and ongoing recovery needs
</div>
<div>* Trauma counseling and mental health support for my children and me
</div>
<div>* Essential household items as we rebuild
</div>
<div>* Lost income and financial hardship during my recovery
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fundraiser is about so much more than moving. It is about giving my children the opportunity to heal in an environment where they can begin to feel safe again. It is about rebuilding our lives after experiencing a trauma that no family should ever endure.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are able to donate, no gift is too small. Every contribution brings us one step closer to safety, stability, and a new beginning.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’re unable to give financially, sharing this fundraiser with your family, friends, coworkers, and social networks would mean the world to us. Every share helps us reach someone who may be able to help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read our story. Thank you for your prayers, your compassion, and your support during the most difficult season of our lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your kindness is helping us believe that, even after tragedy, hope and healing are still possible.
