<div>Police Officer Riku Sawai of SRG - 1 Strategic Response Group) was diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer in December 2025.

<div>Riku, who has faithfully served our city (formerly, 44 pct and 52 pct, currently, SRG - 1), is undergoing chemotherapy treatments at Sloan Kettering and will not be returning to work for the foreseeable future.
</div>
<div>We ask everyone to help Riku by being as generous as possible. But, most importantly, please keep Riku in your prayers!
