<div>During the morning of 1/10, <strong>Melissa Perez (mother) was admitted to the hospital under complications with her oxygen levels and ability to breathe becoming significantly low.</strong> Unfortunately, after a surgical biopsy, she has been diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis, which is an attack on her respiratory organs and system. This has caused a decrease in her ability to do everyday tasks, including her tamale business.

<div>As you all know, or may find out to know, my beloved mother owns Tamales2go, locally loved in the West Monroe/Monroe area for their great HOT tamales! With this setback, we have been unable to attend to the business, which has put a stump financially with medical bills and housing bills. <strong>We are just asking if anyone can help or support through this time or just share our journey!</strong> We will keep updates going as things come back. Currently, she will be signed under Tulane for a lung transplant for if that time comes! We are praying and staying in good spirits that a complete healing will come quickly for my mom.
