I'm Kristian's girlfriend, Ashley. I've known Kristian since I was fifteen years old. His drive, tenacity, and perseverance have always amazed me. No matter what obstacles are thrown his way, he chooses to fight and make the best of it.

Two months ago, he developed a wound on his foot. Although it was promptly treated with antibiotics, it quickly turned into osteomyelitis, a bone infection. To our surprise, the surgeon recommended amputation of his big toe because of the severity of the infection. Kristian was absolutely devastated at this news. He already struggles with walking and balance due to his Spina Bifida, so this is a huge adjustment for him and a whole new way of living. Recovery from this surgery is six weeks. Kristian's doctor currently doesn't want him working, so that his foot can heal. Time off work means no income, making it difficult to pay his bills on top of piling medical expenses.

Kristian is not the type of person to ask for help. He likes to be independent and be the one to lend the helping hand. It would mean the world to Kristian and me if you could show him your support, encouragement, and love during this time. Even a small donation would make a huge difference. God has big plans for Kristian's life. Although the enemy has tried to take his life, God is the author, and He's not finished with his story. This is just a chapter that's going to bring Him glory.
