For more than 30 years, I dedicated my life to helping young people achieve their dreams as the co-founder of a nonprofit organization Colorado Hawks/hard at work kids which focused on education and sports. Through our efforts, hundreds of students were able to attend college, many on full scholarships. I poured my time, energy, personal savings, and retirement funds into helping others because I believed every child deserved an opportunity to succeed.
