<div>Hi everyone, my name is Greg. Many of you know me—I’ve spent over 40 years working in the restaurant business, serving people and building relationships that mean the world to me.
</div>
<div>Last month, my life took an unexpected turn when I was admitted to the hospital with fluid overload and had to undergo two heart procedures. Right now, my body is failing me, and I’m unable to work as a server. I am in pain all the time.
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, like many in our industry, I don’t have health insurance because my most recent job never provided benefits.
</div>
<div>I’ve gone through all of my savings and drained my 401(k), yet I’m still in a very difficult position.
</div>
<div>I also have a long and complicated medical history. I received a kidney transplant in April of 2015, and since then I’ve had to closely monitor my health. I’m battling diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart failure, and I will need to be on several medications for the rest of my life. Right now, I’m scared because I don’t know how I’ll afford the medications that keep me alive.

<div>At the moment, I need help covering basic living expenses—rent and bills, food, medical costs, and prescriptions. I’m unable to work due to my health, and it will be months before I can receive any partial assistance from the government.
</div>
<div>Asking for help is not easy, but I’ve reached a point where I truly need it. Anything you’re able to give—whether it’s a donation, sharing this page, or simply keeping me in your thoughts—means more to me than I can express.
