<div>My name is Terry, and I am raising money for my daughter Dawn, my grandson, and my son-in-law during an incredibly difficult and overwhelming time in their lives.

<div>For over two years, Dawn has suffered from severe back pain. In an effort to avoid surgery, she underwent five epidural injections in just one year. In August 2024, an unrelated but serious issue was discovered—an abscess on her spine. She was admitted to the hospital and later sent home with a PICC line for six weeks of IV antibiotics. Despite this, she was admitted countless times as complications from the abscess led to additional health issues, ultimately causing permanent damage.

<div>In June 2025, Dawn became seriously ill again and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Doctors discovered severe spinal stenosis in both her cervical (neck) and lumbar (lower back) spine. Her surgeon explained that her spinal cord was closing in her neck and that surgery there had to be done immediately to get her out of danger. The lumbar surgery would follow later to help relieve her pain.

<div>Dawn underwent the cervical surgery and is facing a recovery period of up to two years. Her lumbar surgery was scheduled but has now been postponed after doctors discovered she is in kidney failure, which must be treated first.

<div>If you know Dawn, you know she has always been a hard worker—often working two jobs at a time. This situation has completely turned their lives upside down. While my son-in-law is currently working two jobs, it still isn’t enough to keep up with medical bills and basic living expenses, especially with the rising cost of everything. Dawn has applied for disability, but as many know, that process can take a long time.

<div>They are now facing the very real danger of losing the home they worked so hard to build for their family. This is the last thing they ever wanted to do, but they need help just to stay afloat.

<div>Over the past two years, Dawn has tried everything—chiropractic care, acupuncture, physical therapy—while living in constant, severe pain and holding on to hope for relief.
</div>

<div>Funds raised will go toward medical expenses, household bills, and helping them keep their home while Dawn waits for disability and continues her medical treatment.
