<div>We are setting up this fundraiser on behalf of Christine, the partner of Denis "Snake" Bélanger (Voïvod), who was diagnosed in October with Stage 4 colorectal cancer.

<div>The cancer has metastasized to her liver, ovary, and abdominal wall. While treatment has shown some positive results so far, it is intensive and ongoing: involving daily injections, medication, chemotherapy sessions, hospital visits, and numerous medical appointments.

<div>Beyond the physical toll, this situation has significantly impacted Christine’s ability to work. It has also affected Denis’ ability to maintain his regular work commitments, as much of his time is now devoted to supporting Christine through treatment and recovery. Together, this has created serious financial strain due to treatment-related expenses and lost income.

Elle a également eu un impact sur la capacité de Denis à maintenir ses engagements professionnels habituels, puisqu’une grande partie de son temps est désormais consacrée à soutenir Christine pendant son traitement et sa convalescence. Ensemble, cela entraîne une pression financière importante en raison des frais liés aux traitements et de la perte de revenus.
