Now, she’s facing a fight no one ever wants to face.

<div>Cassy will need surgery and ongoing treatment, with some appointments requiring travel to out-of-town locations. While the younger children are still in school, the older kids will be stepping up in a big way, helping care for their siblings while Cassy and Sammy travel for procedures.
