<div>Hello, my name is Brian. I'm simply flying a flag in an attempt to re-start my life so to speak. A little over ten years ago my world was turned upside down when my 10 year old daughter Vera Lynn was killed in a car crash. Asking for help is extremely difficult for me, I was the one who people turned to. I used to be somebody.

<div>Shortly after she died I left my job and home moving away to live with the woman I was dating at the time. I spent the next seven years masking my grief, hiding it even, to try and be emotionally supportive for her and her kids. Out of the blue the relationship, the life I had built dissolved. I was stunned and unknowingly began to breakdown mentally. in 2023 I lost my job and have spent the past two years in a deepening depression. I have bottomed out (I think) and have made many attempts to find employment and work on starting over but time caught up to me. My finances have run out. I have a roof over my head out of the generosity of good people, my car is paid off and is in decent condition, however with no steady income and no more savings, October hit hard. My phone was shut off with a balance due, my insurance lapsed and my vehicle registration expired. I live in a rural area with a 25 minuet drive to the small cities. I am trying to raise enough money to get my vehicle legal , get my phone turned back on and have enough money to do things like buy new clothes if needed, and survive while securing a new job. There are far more deserving people in need here, this I know. I am just trying, if I give up who will remember my Vera?
