<div> My name is Kristen Prosser, and I am Baby Khloe’s grandmother. I am organizing this fundraiser to help my daughter, Kayla, and my precious granddaughter, Khloe, as they face an unimaginable medical crisis.  Her father, is accused of causing the injury. According to the police report, he squeezed, dropped and hit her repeatedly. At just 2 months old, Khloe suffered a life-changing brain injury and is currently receiving specialized care at Children’s Hospital. She is expected to remain hospitalized for an extended period and has a long road of recovery ahead. While we continue to pray for healing every single day, we also know that her journey will require ongoing medical care, therapies, rehabilitation, and long-term support. Because Khloe requires around-the-clock care, my daughter Kayla has had to step away from work indefinitely to remain by her daughter’s side. As a mother, there is nowhere else she could be. Unfortunately, this has created a significant financial hardship at a time when our family’s only focus should be Khloe’s recovery. Every dollar raised will be used specifically to help with: Current and future medical expenses not covered by insurance. Long-term rehabilitation, therapies, specialists, and medical equipment Khloe may need throughout her recovery. Travel expenses, parking, meals, and lodging while Khloe remains hospitalized and during future medical appointments. Daily living expenses for Kayla while she is unable to work, including housing, utilities, groceries, transportation, insurance, and other essential household bills.  Any additional costs associated with providing Khloe the best possible care as she continues her recovery. Our family is committed to using these funds solely to support Khloe’s medical needs and to help relieve the financial burden placed on Kayla while she cares for her daughter full-time.
