<div>Doing this has weighed heavy on me, but sometimes you have to put your pride in the background. Hi, my name is Allison. I'm a 52-year-old mother of 4 sons and married to my wonderful husband for 34 years. I worked full-time at Bowdon Pharmacy making cemetery arrangements and helping in the pharmacy up until lately.

<div>On August 1, I had a mammogram. On August 4, a biopsy result showed <strong>HR+HER2- breast cancer</strong>. Other tests and a second opinion led to a mastectomy on October 27; all cancer and 5 lymph nodes were removed. The oncologist put me on hormone blockers, and radiation was to start at the beginning of the year. All was good, and I went back to work after 3 weeks.

<div>Fast forward to December 13, I went Christmas shopping with the girls from work and began having back pain on and off. On Sunday, I went to supper for my son's birthday, and the pain started again to the point I had to go to the ER. Lots of tests later, they found 2 arteries 90% blocked and a mass on my right lung. On Thursday the 18th, I had double bypass surgery and the mass was removed. We're still waiting on results from that.

<div>Never in a million years did I think I would be 52 with breast cancer and a double bypass. My husband works full-time out of town, and even though he makes good money, we have 2 car payments that I made from my paycheck, which won't be coming in now, as well as medical bills from the cancer treatment and bypass, and the everyday expenses. <strong>I have always been the person to give and not receive. So asking for help is not an easy task.</strong> I am just hoping to not get behind in our bills. <strong>If you feel compelled to help us, it will be greatly appreciated.</strong> I have realized as of late that you can never take your health and loved ones for granted, as no one is granted tomorrow. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you may give.

<div>Adding an update the results from the mass on my lung came back as cancer as well Dr said they got clear margins but waiting on more test to see if I have to do anything else praying that I don't.
