Hi everyone,

If you’ve been in our lives, you know 2025 has been anything but easy for Jake. His car was recently totaled (through no fault of his own), and we've been doing our best to care for our sweet Lumen with the resources we have.

Sadly, we’ve reached the day we were hoping wouldn’t come so soon just after Lumen’s 6th birthday on Valentines. Lumen’s body is giving out, and we now face the heartbreaking decision of prioritizing her quality of life. We are devastated, feeling the weight of this moment, and grieving while she’s still with us.

I’m setting up this fundraiser to help support Jake during this incredibly difficult time. There’s absolutely no pressure—this is simply a way to ease the financial burden of Lumen’s final costs so he can focus on healing.
