A standing device for Sophia

My name is Pasha Zalutski and I'm raising money for my niece Sophia Nistyuk. She is a wonderful 5-year old girl with cerebral palsy; she lives in the suburbs of Minsk, Belarus with her mom Yulia. For an introduction, please see our video.

Since Sophia is unable to sit or stand, she is in need of a device that can help her spend time in a vertical position. It's called a stander. This is a much needed device since the standing position greatly improves all sorts of processes in the body. Not to mention the psychological benefits for both Sophia and the family. It provides for a newfound sense of independence and empowerment!

The stander is by Bantam and will be ordered from http://dokmed.ru/vertikalizatory/vertikalizator-bantam. The company will deliver it to a relative in Moscow who will transport it by car to Minsk. The target price includes the main device and the additional accessories like the table, supports, belts and push handle.

We will also be happy to accept a donation of a used stander.
