I need your help…
My name is Milena Cerin and I am an Entrepreneur and single mom of two children. My son is 14 and my daughter is an adult and on her own. I have managed to build a successful life for myself and have overcome the many obstacles that challenge entrepreneurs and single parents. I have been very proud of what I have built and happy with where I am in life.
This was until recently, when life presented me with one of the biggest challenges I’ve had to face yet. I was diagnosed with cancer. I know that many others have faced this demon down and have fully recovered, but I also know that they were able to do so because of all the incredible support they had around them.
It can be difficult to overcome the pride of self reliance when facing a situation where I know I must reach out and ask for help. My circle of friends and colleagues is amazing, and I need to find the courage to lean on you all in this time of need. I know I can overcome this challenge, but I do need help to do so.
I am choosing to heal through alternative medicine, and I am committed to this course of action because I believe in it and I know I have a better chance of recovery if I am fully invested in my course of treatment. The traditional treatment of chemotherapy came with a very weak prognosis with no promise of recovery and good health at the end of it. This course of treatment would be very aggressive and assault my body in many ways that I am simply not prepared to do - Especially when there are other treatment options available and I still have a young son to care for at home.
MY CHOICE OF TREATMENT
For two months I have been following a natural treatment and I am also scheduled at a clinic in Mexico to visit this August and will need surgery in the near future. I have done my research and seen others how have followed this natural treatment that had been given only weeks to live have ended up living 10 years or more. This gives me hope, much more hope that the traditional treatment of chemotherapy does here.
However, the cost of this treatment is adding up, and because I am unable to work full time right now, I am facing the reality of dire funding needs to complete this course of treatment.
When I think of chemotherapy, I only see darkness and fear. When I think of natural treatment and the course of recovery that I am on right now, I see hope and life. This is a defining moment for me in choosing what is best for me and my family to overcome this incredible challenge. It is a journey, and I know that not having to stress about money and being able to dedicate my time to healing would be a great blessing to me and will speed up my recovery exponentially.
