Standing with Ken's Legacy

We are losing momentum after 1 month. Please seize this opportunity to help now! We don’t want these beautiful and well mannered boys to become a distant memory. Thank you to everyone who has shared and donated so far. If you haven’t donated yet, please consider donating $5 - $10 to get us closer to our goal. No donation is too small! You can also DONATE ANONYMOUSLY in 2 ways. 1) you can Fill in you name as “anonymous” on the first page where you enter donation amount 2) you can select the “Make donation, comment private” after donation is completed. My name is Jenn and I am Ken's cousin, one of 55. A majority of us lived together in our childhood days and have become a closely knit unit. This included Ken, whom was one of the older ones that looked after us.

Collectively, we thought this would be a great idea to financially assist Ken's kids in this difficult time. They are all of mine and the cousins' nephews. We, as their aunts and uncles, want to provide help with the immediate everyday needs for the kids such as meals, school supplies, extracurricular activities and hopefully enough to start a college or higher learning fund.

In the untimely passing of our cousin, we are saddened to see our beloved Ken depart into God’s hands. He is survived by his sons – 9 year old triplets (Kieran, Casey, Kenard).

His passing came as a shock to all of us. We never expected him to leave us like this so soon in a tragic fashion. Some of us still feel it’s a bad nightmare. Our lives are forever changed.

He impacted and shaped every one of our lives in different and meaningful ways. A hard working, self-less father that always provided for his family and ensured they had everything. A mindful, compassionate man always putting his kids first. He was so much more then just a devoted father.

Ken was known as the family jokester, always bringing laughter and cheer to everyone. He was a natural presence of happiness that emanated into the many lives he touched. He could make the worst day feel like the best day. We no longer have that.

He was the type to instill toughness and built the entire family’s character. Friends of Ken deemed him the hardest working mechanic, no matter rain, shine or snow, he championed the ability to finish the job in any condition. His perseverance still amazes us.

We wish there was some rewind button to erase this all and cease the pain his parents and siblings are enduring.

We know Ken would want us to carry-on and hold our heads up high. He will live on through all of us with his spirit embodied within his children in our hearts, minds and soul. We cherish the memories he bestowed upon us.

The three boys now have to endure the hardship of growing up fatherless – no one to tuck them in during bedtime, no one to come to their school games, no one to teach them how to ride a bike, no one to talk to about girls, no one to teach them how to drive or fix a flat tire...the list is endless.

Kieran, Casey, and Kenard will have to survive in a world where a father figure is more pivotal then ever for their successful development. Your donations will graciously provide care for this family and help progress them in their education.

We genuinely appreciate any help you have given us – thank you to all the angels out there.
