On January 29th, 2025, our dear Vanessa’s dream house was set on fire by a homophobic neighbor. We are raising funds to cover legal fees, any costs that insurance doesn’t reimburse, as well as time to emotionally recover from this atrocious act of terror.

Vanessa, her partner, and their 5-year-old daughter had recently moved away from their dream home due to constant harassment from this neighbor, as they were unable to find legal recourse for said acts through local law enforcement.

We are so grateful they were not in the house at the time, but they committed all their financial and emotional resources into building this home over the last few years. As the legal process unfolds, they are pressed financially and any additional support from their wider community would be greatly appreciated.
