<div>Hello, my name is Afnan, a young woman from Gaza, 21 years old. I live with my family, who suffers as I do from the consequences of a war that has destroyed our simplest dreams and uprooted us from our roots. I recently graduated, having completed my diploma in digital marketing, but my joy was not complete. The war took away from me and my younger brother Abdul Rahman 20 years old the hope for a better future; I dream of continuing my studies abroad, and my brother , who aspired to become a professional photographer, unfortunately, couldn’t even complete his studies.

<div>In the blink of an eye, our home was destroyed under the bombardment, and we miraculously emerged from the rubble, survivors but left with nothing. We lost everything: no money, no clothes, and not even our memories, which were obliterated under the debris. Now, we live in a tent in Rafah with ten others, enduring harsh conditions and struggling to get water and food.

<div>My mother, Hanan, who is 60 years old, suffers terribly due to back problems that have worsened under these circumstances. My father, Khalid, 62 years old, suffers from asthma and is now in Gaza, severely struggling with breathing difficulties amidst the tough conditions and lack of healthcare. Although my mother and I were able to travel to Egypt for treatment where I was treated for cancer, we are now without a source of income, living a life lacking the simplest elements of human dignity.

<div>The cost of traveling outside Gaza through the Rafah Crossing ranges from $5,000 to $10,000 per person, and these costs are prohibitively expensive for us. I appeal to your humanity, to lend us a hand to gather the required amount to escape this bitter reality and to be able to live with dignity and safety, and to reunite my family once again. Any support you provide, even if small, will give us a chance to build a new life we deserve, a life that befits us and our future dreams.

<div>في غمضة عين، دُمر منزلنا تحت وطأة القصف، وخرجنا من تحت الأنقاض بأعجوبة، ناجين ولكن خالي الوفاض. خسرنا كل شيء: لا مال، لا ملابس، ولا حتى ذكرياتنا التي طمست تحت الركام. الآن، نعيش في خيمة برفح مع عشرة آخرين، نكابد الظروف القاهرة ونصارع للحصول على الماء والطعام.

<div>والدتي حنان، التي تبلغ من العمر 60 عامًا، تعاني الأمرّين بسبب مشاكل في الظهر تفاقمت بسبب هذه الأحوال. والدي خالد، 62 عامًا، يعاني من الربو وهو الآن في غزة يعاني بشدة من صعوبات التنفس في ظل الأوضاع الصعبة ونقص الرعاية الصحية. وعلى الرغم من أنني وأمي استطعنا السفر إلى مصر للعلاج حيث كنت أعالج من السرطان، إلا أننا الآن بلا مورد رزق، ونعيش حياة تفتقر لأبسط مقومات الكرامة الإنسانية.

<div>تكاليف السفر خارج قطاع غزة عبر معبر رفح تتراوح بين 5000 إلى 10000 دولار للشخص الواحد، وهذه التكاليف باهظة للغاية بالنسبة لنا. أناشدكم بإنسانيتكم، أن تمدوا لنا يد العون لنجمع المبلغ المطلوب للهروب من هذا الواقع المرير ولنتمكن من العيش بكرامة وأمان، ولتلتئم شمل عائلتي مرة أخرى . كل دعم تقدمونه لنا، لو كان بسيطًا، سيمنحنا فرصة لبناء حياة جديدة نستحقها، حياة تليق بنا وبأحلامنا المستقبلية.
