Over 200 cities in Ukraine have been attacked, causing the death of innocent victims, and generalized chaos. Millions of Ukraine inhabitants are now in constant fear for their lives and are urgently trying to flee the country. As airports shut down and borders have started to close, finding a solution is becoming more critical each minute.
Millions of people in Ukraine are facing an imminent humanitarian crisis. As in every crisis, minorities and marginalised communities such as members of the LGBTQIA+ community, bipocs and people with disabilities are particularly vulnerable and experience the worst impacts. That’s why we must provide support and welcome all those fleeing from the conflict in Ukraine, independent of their nationality, skin colour, race or religion. The solidarity with people who are seeking safety in our countries, should be extended without discrimination and last for as long as required. We need your support!
We are Activists in Risk Zones (ARZ), a Task Force within Fridays For Future movement. Since 2019, ARZ has been supporting and advocating on behalf of activists and their families all over the world whose physical, well-being or legal rights are being threatened. From August, we have been working in collaboration with major international organizations to evacuate at risk climate justice activists and their immediate families from Afghanistan.
Now we need your help to support the most vulnerable to overcome the consequences and trauma of the war. We’ve set up this crowdfunding campaign to urgently raise funds to help at-risk activists and other vulnerable groups who were living in Ukraine.
Your donations will help us pay for transportation, accomodation, visa fees, legal support, resettlement costs and any other costs incurred with getting people to safety.

*All funds raised through this crowdfunder are hosted by Climate 2025, a not-for-profit that supports movements tackling the climate and ecological emergency.
**All remaining funds raised by this campaign will be used by Activists in Risk Zones to cover costs from activists from other war zones.
