This is our chance to help out the Perez family during their biggest time of need. They are a special family - the kind of family that would drop anything to help the ones they love. They are currently facing an unimaginable challenge as cancer has re-entered their lives - turning their world upside down. Debbie was first diagnosed with cervical cancer back in 2012 and underwent radiation and surgery to remove the tumor. It was recently discovered that the cancer returned and progressed to Stage 4 and spread to the spleen and lungs. Debbie is in the fight of her life as she faces complications from chemotherapy and immunotherapy to treat her cancer that has led to multiple hospital visits and a long hospital stay in critical care due to internal bleeding from the spleen. She has undergone multiple life-saving emergency surgeries and is fighting every day to get stronger and heal from all that she has been through. She was recently moved to a rehabilitation hospital where she will continue to work to get stronger and back on her feet. The fight in this family is remarkable, but the uncertainty of what each day brings takes an emotional toll on them as they work through this difficult time.

As Debbie courageously battles this disease, Rick and her boys stand by her side, providing unwavering love and support. Rick has been staying overnight in the hospital room by her side every night to make sure she is safe and cared for. Griffen and Lucas are facing the regular challenges of their young adult lives with remarkable strength and resilience. However, the strain of seeing their mom suffer takes its toll on them every day. The Perez family has been through a lot. They are tough - but they cannot do it alone. Medical bills are piling up, and the financial burden of ongoing treatment, coupled with the loss of income due to the inability to work, weighs heavily on their shoulders.
