<div>Hello, friends! I'm asking for your help in helping my friend, Teresa. She's had a hard go of it in life and is continuing to go through it. This courageous, smart, and giving woman is suffering from a multitude of mental health issues due to a childhood of trauma and victimization in adulthood.

<div>With a childhood marred by extended acts of abuse, neglect and abandonment by those close to her, she has had a lifetime of diagnosis of suffering from Agoraphobia, Persistent Depressive Disorder with reoccurring Major Depression, Anxiety Disorder, OCD, and PTSD. For most of her life, she had been able to somewhat manage the symptoms of these conditions.

<div>In high school, she became pregnant, and dropped out to raise her daughter as a single mother. Despite this, she raised a wonderful, smart, and successful daughter, obtained her GED, and graduated college.

<div>In recent years, she became a victim of rape, theft, and car theft by someone she thought was her good friend. Also, an ex-boyfriend would go on to stalk, abuse, and have a night of physical abuse and with her being strangulated. She only survived because he had left her for dead.

<div>These experiences have caused a severe resurgence of her agoraphobia, making her a prisoner in her home for the past 3 years. Being unable to leave her home, caused her to lose her job and without income, she fell behind in her bills after depleting her savings. This triggered her to fall into a deep bout of depression that caused her to be hospitalized following a suicide attempt.

<div>In addition to the mental illnesses, she has since been diagnosed with COPD and is currently on oxygen treatment. Thus, making it hard for her to earn an income.

<div>Although, she has applied for SSDI, it is a long arduous process. <strong>This is why I'm starting this GoFundMe campaign to help her raise the funds she needs to help her catch up on her bills and to get her through.</strong> I'm hoping to raise $10,000 in $5-10 donations for her in order to help catch up on her severely past due bills as well as get her through the next few months. If you could, please share this campaign with friends and family, but most of all, please remember her in your thoughts and prayers.
